By Air: Pantnagar Airport (PGH), 65 km away, is the closest airport. You may take a taxi from there to Nainital.
By Train: The nearest railway station is Kathgodam Railway Station (KGM), 34 km away. It is well-connected to Indian cities. Buses and taxis are easily available between Kathgodam and Nainital.
By Road: Nainital is nicely connected by road to big cities such as Delhi, Lucknow, and Dehradun. Frequent bus connectivity and personal taxis run to and from Nainital. The ride itself is an artistically beautiful sight with scenes of rolling hills.

Nainital has a comfortable climate throughout the year, but depending upon your preference:
March to June (Spring/Summer): Best for sightseeing and outdoor activities, with good weather and clear skies. The temperature is between 10°C and 27°C.
July to September (Monsoon): The environment becomes lush green, but heavy rains may go against travel plans. This is ideal for nature enthusiasts who do not mind rain and appreciate misty landscapes.
October to February (Autumn/Winter): Provides cool, clear weather and cold temperatures. Snow fall is frequent in December and January, turning Nainital into a winter wonderland, ideal for honeymooners and skiing enthusiasts.
