Yes, you can travel to Dubai from India. Dubai is open for international tourism. There is no need for submitting any negative Covid test certificate as well.

Multiple connecting and direct flights are available from all the major cities of India. Flight prices may range from anywhere between 12000 INR to 34000 INR. Prices vary depending on the availability and demand for the ticket.

Dubai document requirements for travelers from India

  • Passport (valid for at least 6 months)

  • Copy of your valid Visa

Visa requirements for Indian travelers

Following are the visa requirements for Indian Travellers. Make sure to have them before applying for a visa.

  • Passport valid for 6 months

  • Passport size photos

  • Copy of your completed & signed visa application form

  • Details of your itinerary

  • Statement of your bank account of last six months

  • Address proof

  • Letter from your sponsor

Visa on arrival

Indians can get a 14 day visa on arrival and can extend it to additional 14 days once. However it is only available for Indian passport holders who hold a valid US visa or green card valid for 6 months or more on the date of arrival.

Tourist E-visa application

Those planning a trip to Dubai can now apply for a tourist e-Visa online.

  • Download the online form from the official website.

  • Fill the form and make sure you have entered details properly.

  • Provide all the necessary documents and information required for e-visa.

  • Pay the e-visa fees and wait for the confirmation. You’ll receive a unique confirmation number once the payment is done.

  • Wait for the Visa to get approved. Once it's approved, print it and take it along with you on your trip to Dubai.

Dubai Flight travel time

It takes about 4 hours to travel to Dubai via direct flight. Connecting flights can take anything from 5 to 21 hours, depending on your transit time.

Traveling options from the Airport

  • Taxi - Minimum 25 AED + 1.75 AED per km. (DXB)

  • Metro - 5 am to midnight on monday to thursday, 5 am to 1 am on friday, 5 am to 12 am on saturday, 8 am to midnight on sunday.

  • Bus - Requires a NOL card (you can get it on metro stations). Min balance required on the card - 7.5 AED.

  • Rental Cars - Many car rental options are available at the airport (DXB).
