No Daytime Flights in Lucknow Airport from March to July 2025

Planning a trip to or from Lucknow? Be prepared for major flight schedule changes at Chaudhary Charan Singh International Airport (CCSIA). From March 1 to July 15, 2025, all flight operations between 10 AM and 6 PM will be suspended due to a large-scale runway upgrade.

Why is Lucknow Airport Closing During the Day?

The airport is undergoing runway resurfacing and modernization to enhance safety and efficiency. Key upgrades include:

  • Runway recarpeting to improve durability and aircraft traction

  • Installation of LED airfield lighting to reduce power consumption by 50%

  • Construction of a new taxiway to ease congestion and improve aircraft movement

These improvements will help accommodate growing passenger traffic and ensure smoother operations in the long run.
