India's aviation sector is set to welcome a new player as FLY 91, the country's latest airline, prepares to begin operations on March 18th. This development comes as the airline industry looks to meet the growing demand for air travel in the country.

FLY 91 aims to offer passengers a unique flying experience, with a focus on safety, comfort, and efficiency. The airline's fleet is expected to consist of modern aircraft equipped with the latest amenities.
“Today marks a major milestone for FLY91 in our effort to make air travel more accessible as part of our vision for Bharat Unbound. We reiterate our commitment to our customers that FLY91 is aligned with the goal towards offering last mile connectivity and making air travel in India accessible, safe and reliable. We aim to be part of India’s ongoing economic transformation by creating robust regional connectivity which is crucial to economic growth,” stated Manoj Chacko, Managing Director, and Chief Executive Officer of FLY 91.
After successfully conducting its inaugural flight from Goa’s Mopa to Agatti in Lakshadweep, FLY 91 has announced plans to commence its commercial operations from March 18th.
The airline will initially connect Goa to Bengaluru and Hyderabad. FLY 91 currently operates two ATR 72-600 aircraft and aims to expand its fleet by adding six more planes within the next six months.
The launch of FLY 91 is expected to inject fresh competition into the Indian aviation sector. With its innovative approach and customer-centric focus, the airline is poised to offer passengers a new option for air travel in India.
