All Tatanagar Train Cancellations in May 2025: Full List, Important Dates & Travel Tips

TATANAGAR, JHARKHAND — If you're planning to travel by train in May 2025, take note: South Eastern Railway has announced multiple train cancellations due to ongoing railway maintenance blocks across the Chakradharpur, Adra, and Kharagpur divisions. These disruptions will significantly affect passengers commuting between Tatanagar, Rourkela, Hatia, Bilaspur, Itwari, Ranchi, Howrah, and Shalimar.

List of Cancelled Trains from Tatanagar (May 2025)

Several trains from or via Tatanagar Junction are cancelled in May 2025 due to maintenance blocks across various divisions. Passengers should confirm schedules with official sources and plan alternate travel accordingly.

Due to Chakradharpur Line Block:

  • Tatanagar–Rourkela MEMU: Cancelled on May 13, 15, and 17

  • Tatanagar–Hatia Express: Cancelled from May 14 to May 30

Due to Adra Division Block:

  • Jhargram–Dhanbad MEMU: Cancelled on May 15

Previously Announced Cancellations:

  • Tatanagar–Bilaspur Express: Cancelled on May 30

  • Tatanagar–Itwari Express: Cancelled on May 17

  • Tata–Hatia MEMU: Cancelled from May 25 to May 30

Due to Kharagpur Division Block:

11 Pairs of Trains via Tatanagar to/from Ranchi, Howrah, & Shalimar: Cancelled until May 18
