Dazzling Drone Show Lights Up the Sky at Mysuru Dasara 2024

If you're in Mysuru this October, there's something extra special happening at this year’s Dasara festivities: a jaw-dropping drone display that’s adding a modern touch to the traditional celebrations. Thousands of people have already gathered at the Torchlight Parade grounds to witness the skies come alive with enchanting formations, and the best part? You can catch this mesmerizing show for free - on select days!

Free for All!

The administration has graciously opened up the skies for the public to enjoy free drone shows on October 6 and 7. However, for the drone extravaganzas scheduled on October 11 and 12, you'll need a pass to attend. These aren’t just any drone shows either - about 1,500 drones will be used in the displays, filling the night sky with breathtaking, synchronized patterns that are sure to leave everyone in awe.

Electric Chariot to Spread Awareness

In addition to the high-tech drone shows, Chamundeshwari Electricity Supply Corporation (CESC) Ltd. has introduced a fascinating ‘electric chariot’ this year. This eco-friendly vehicle will be cruising through different parts of Mysuru, spreading the word about electrical safety, the benefits of solar power, and government schemes. So, keep an eye out for it as you explore the city’s festive spirit.

This year’s decorations are particularly special. Local professionals have worked tirelessly to decorate the city’s streets and iconic circles, all following the Chief Minister’s advice to make Mysuru dazzle like never before. Their dedication is clearly shining through in every lamp and lantern you’ll see lining the city during Dasara 2024.
