Planning a trip to the beautiful beaches of Bali or the vibrant city of Jakarta? We have some important, and very helpful, news for you! The Indonesian government has introduced a new digital platform to make your arrival even smoother and faster. Say hello to the 'All Indonesia' app, which is now a mandatory part of your travel plans.
Image credit: App Store - Apple
Think of this app as your one-stop digital assistant for entering Indonesia. It's designed to replace all those separate paper forms you used to fill out on the plane or at the airport. The app conveniently combines your:
Immigration arrival card: Your basic personal and travel information.
Customs declaration: A form about what you're bringing into the country.
Health declaration: A quick check on your health status.
This new system is a fantastic step towards a more efficient and stress-free arrival process, giving you more time to enjoy your trip!
The process is simple and can be done from the comfort of your home before you even leave. Just follow these easy steps:
Get the App: The 'All Indonesia' app is available on the App Store and Google Play Store. You can also access a web version on the official government website: allindonesia.imigrasi.go.id.
Fill in Your Details: Enter your passport and flight information, and complete the simple declarations. The app is user-friendly and supports multiple languages, including English.
Get Your QR Code: Once you've submitted your information, the app will generate a unique QR code. Be sure to save a copy of this code on your phone or print it out.
When you arrive in Indonesia, just present this QR code to the immigration or customs officers for a quick scan. This simple step will help you breeze through the arrival hall!

It's a Must-Do: Starting September 1, 2025, using the 'All Indonesia' app is mandatory for travelers arriving at major airports like Bali (Ngurah Rai) and Jakarta (Soekarno-Hatta).
It's Not a Visa: Remember, this app is for declarations only. You'll still need to have a valid visa (like a Visa on Arrival or e-visa) or be eligible for visa-free entry. The good news? You can even pay for your Visa on Arrival through the app to save time!
It’s Free! The app is completely free to use. Please be cautious of any unofficial websites that may try to charge you a fee.
By taking a few minutes to complete this digital form before your flight, you're setting yourself up for a wonderfully smooth and quick arrival, so you can start your Indonesian adventure sooner!
As a traveler, my final thought is that this new app is a fantastic step in the right direction. It's great to see the government embracing technology to make the arrival process smoother and less stressful. The idea of combining all those paper forms into a single digital one is a huge relief. This change feels like it's designed with the traveler in mind, and anything that gets me out of the airport and onto the beach faster is a win in my book.
