India Unveils Vande Bharat Sleeper Coaches: A Leap Towards Modern Rail Travel

Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw recently introduced the prototype images of the Vande Bharat Sleeper Coaches. A collaboration between the Integral Coach Factory (ICF) and Bharat Earth Movers Limited (BEML) marks a significant leap in enhancing the Indian rail experience, with a launch anticipated in early 2024.

Expanding the Vande Bharat mission, Indian Railways has embarked on ambitious projects, including a partnership between Rail Vikas Nigam Limited and Russia's TMH. This collaboration has led to the formation of Kinet, a special purpose vehicle or SPV which runs the Vande Bharat sleeper train projects forward.

Here are few of the proposed concept images by Kinety that are yet pending for approval by Indian Railways.
