Pack your Mickey ears and fasten your seatbelts because... India might finally get its own Disneyland-style theme park! Yes, the buzz is real, and the excitement is sky-high. Haryana's Chief Minister recently announced plans for a massive international-style theme park in the NCR region, near Gurgaon - and it's being described as “Disneyland-inspired.”
But before you start booking your tickets or building Disney-themed reels, here’s the full story.
The proposed site is at Pachgaon Chowk in Manesar, spread over 500 acres, along the KMP Expressway. That’s right near Gurgaon, and well-connected to Delhi and the rest of NCR. The location is also close to the Global City project, making it a hotbed for future tourism and infrastructure growth.
This could become India’s biggest theme park ever, attracting families, kids, and adventure-seekers from all over the country.

Here’s the catch: Disney has NOT officially confirmed its involvement yet.
The Haryana government has said that it's aiming to create a Disneyland-style park and is reportedly in talks with international brands, including Disney. There’s also central government support behind the plan. But as of now, no direct partnership with Disney has been announced.
So yes, it’s a “Disneyland-style” park for now - not an official Disneyland... yet.
Let’s be real - Gurgaon is already booming with skyscrapers, malls, cafes, and startups. Adding a global-scale theme park to this mix? Huge move. It’s close to the airport, has highway and metro connectivity, and is growing fast thanks to projects like the Haryana Orbital Rail Corridor.
Basically, it’s a travel hub in the making.
Transform Haryana’s tourism game
Create thousands of jobs
Put India on the global theme park map
Offer a family-friendly destination on a global scale
And with everything from hotels to local transport and food benefiting, the local economy is in for a boost too.
That’s still a mystery. Since the park is in its early planning stages, there’s no confirmed timeline yet. The government has allocated land and started planning, but construction and official partnerships are still in progress. So it may take several years before we see rollercoasters and Disney parades in Gurgaon.

While it’s not an official Disneyland (yet), the announcement alone is a big step forward. Whether or not Disney comes on board, this park has the potential to reshape tourism in India and give families something truly magical to look forward to - no passport required.
We’ll be tracking every update as it unfolds. So stay tuned, keep dreaming, and maybe start brushing up on your Disney trivia... just in case.
