Air India Express hit some serious turbulence this week with over 70 flights being cancelled – both international and domestic.

A sudden outbreak of "last-minute sickness" among senior crew members, according to the airline. This unexpected turn of events left many flights delayed or cancelled altogether, causing a major headache for passengers and prompting the aviation authorities to take notice.
The Ministry of Civil Aviation (MoCA) is asking Air India Express for a full report on these cancellations and wants them to sort things out ASAP. They've also reminded the airline to take care of passengers as per the rules.

Air India Express, in their defense, says they're trying their best to understand why so many crew members are calling in sick at the last minute. They're also working hard to minimize disruptions for passengers, offering full refunds or rescheduling options for those affected flights.
Important: If you have an upcoming Air India Express flight, double-check the status before heading to the airport to avoid any surprises.
This whole situation comes after rumblings of discontent from a section of the Air India Express cabin crew union late last month. They claim there's mismanagement and unequal treatment of staff, which might be linked to the recent mass "illness."
Social media wasn't happy either, with several passengers venting their frustration about the sudden cancellations. Air India Express, however, kept their responses on social media pretty generic, blaming "operational reasons" for the chaos.
Here's hoping things get smoothed out soon for Air India Express and their passengers!
