The Ministry of Civil Aviation has expressed that the post-Covid turnaround in India's domestic aviation sector is not only impressive but also serves as an inspiration. In a post on X, the ministry highlighted that a positive attitude, forward-looking policies, and a strong passenger trust have propelled the industry to new heights with each passing flight.
The ministry further noted that the recent highest single-day air traffic post-pandemic reflects a remarkable 7.4% increase above pre-Covid averages. In a celebratory statement on X, they exclaimed, "Taking flight to new heights! The Ministry of Civil Aviation soars as it celebrates the highest single-day air traffic since the pandemic hit, marking a remarkable 7.4% surge above pre-COVID averages. A clear sign of recovery and resilience in the skies."

India stands out as one of the fastest-growing civil aviation markets globally, and the domestic air passenger traffic recorded an annual growth of nearly 11%, reaching 1.26 crore in October, as reported by PTI.
