Check timings and prices: Although I've given the latest information that is available, it is always safe to cross-check timings and entry price on the museum's website or by phoning ahead, as it may sometimes vary.
Look for combined tickets: A few museums, particularly in Old Goa, may have combined tickets for more than one place of interest, which is economical.
Chart your course: Several museums are located in close proximity to each other (such as Old Goa or Panaji), so it's possible to see several in one day.
Give yourself plenty of time: Don't dash from display to display. Take the time to absorb the data and admire the artifacts.
Adhere to the rules: Follow rules on photography, touching items, and keeping things respectable.
Dress in comfortable shoes: Particularly for museums with much walking or outdoor segments.
Bring water and sunscreen: If going to open-air museums or those with outdoor segments, particularly during hot weather.
Besides its renowned beaches, Goa's museums take one on a fascinating trip to its soul and expose its rich cultural heritage and a vibrant history that's just waiting to be experienced. So, on your next visit to Goa, be sure to spend some time at these informative and interesting institutions.
