Bengaluru's Kempegowda International Airport (KIA) has secured the top position as the world's most punctual airport for three consecutive months, followed by Rajiv Gandhi International Airport, Hyderabad, India in the third spot, according to Cirium, a global aviation data and analytics company.
Bengaluru Airport Tops Global On-Time Performance Rankings
KIA achieved on-time departure rates of 87.51% in July, 89.66% in August, and 88.51% in September. This is a significant achievement for KIA, as it is one of the busiest airports in India, handling over 30 million passengers each year.

Hyderabad's Rajiv Gandhi International Airport (RGIA) has also been recognized for its punctuality, ranking third on Cirium's list of the world's most punctual airports. RGIA achieved an on-time departure rate of 90.43% in March 2023, the highest of any airport in the world.
