Pilot Takes Off (For Pizza) Leaving Passengers on Standby

You're all set for your trip, cruising through security, and bam! Your flight gets delayed. But hold on, this isn't your average weather-related wait. This time, it's all about pizza!

A video doing the rounds on Insta (courtesy Dailymail) shows a pilot making a rather... unique announcement. Apparently, the crew couldn't stomach the in-flight meals (we've all been there with airline food!), and our pilot friend decided to take matters into his own hands. Yep, you guessed it - pizza time!

The pilot, bless his heart, went ahead and left the terminal to grab some slices for the fam (er, crew). The catch? This little pizza run meant the flight ended up landing three hours behind schedule. Passengers, understandably, were divided.

Some folks sympathized with the hangry crew, totally relatable, right? But others weren't too happy, especially considering they weren't offered snacks or allowed to use the facilities while they waited. Let's be honest, a three-hour delay with nothing but thin air is a recipe for frustration!

The airline, of course, is all apologies and promises to avoid such "pizza emergencies" in the future. This whole incident just goes to show the fine line between keeping the crew happy and the passengers chill. What do you think? Team pilot's pizza run or Team on-time departure?
