Location: The safari will be located near the Similipal Tiger Reserve, in the Mayurbhanj district of Odisha.
Size: The proposed area is 200 hectares, with 100 hectares dedicated to showcasing the tigers and the remaining area for veterinary facilities, staff infrastructure, and visitor amenities.
Purpose: The safari aims to provide tourists with a unique opportunity to see black tigers while also contributing to conservation efforts and raising awareness about these endangered animals.
Current status: The project has received in-principle approval from the National Tiger Conservation Authority and is expected to be operational soon.
